What to measure
Record the number of points, inside spread, main beam lengths, tine lengths and the four circumference (mass) measurements per side. You don't need an official score to track a trend. You just need to measure the same way every time.
Age first, antlers second
Antler size means little without age. A 3.5-year-old 120" buck and a 5.5-year-old 120" buck tell very different stories about your herd and habitat.
